Finding and maintaining healthy networks and partnerships as well as how to work well together without losing identity was seen as something many NGOs struggled with. With limited capacity, small budgets and often overlapping mandates, NGOs are more often in competition for ownership, funding, branding or control instead of pursuing functioning collaborations to the benefit of all. Too often networks fail rather than an effort being made to maintain them by instigating methods for organizational development, partnership and inclusion.
